The practice uses the Epic electronic medical record system.

Candidates should be graduates of a Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs program. For those hired after March 1, 2019, a master's degree or higher in nurse anesthesia is the minimum education requirement. The role requires recognition as an APRN, or eligibility for it, with a current or obtainable South Carolina license, and insurability by MUSC's malpractice insurer at the required limits. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification from an AHA provider course or an American Red Cross CPR/AED course for professional rescuers and healthcare providers is also required.
