Full details
The schedule is five 8-hour shifts a week. This locum tenens assignment in Texas runs 120 days and begins 12/08/2025 at a clinic. The anesthesia role centers on a Supervision Model and calls for a CRNA who can handle orthopedic, general, gynecological, pain management, and urology cases. Familiarity with the Cerner electronic health record is considered an advantage, and the assignment may be extended beyond its initial term.
Core duties include providing anesthesia across these procedure types, performing pre-anesthetic evaluations, building anesthesia plans, and watching vital signs while adjusting anesthesia as procedures progress. The provider keeps patients safe and comfortable through the entire perioperative window, works alongside surgeons, nurses, and other clinicians, follows facility policies and safety protocols, documents care promptly and accurately in the record system, and joins quality improvement efforts when asked.
Candidates must hold a Texas license and current CRNA certification. The clinic values flexibility in adapting to its particular needs and workflows, along with strong communication and teamwork.
Compensation is described as strong. Travel-related expenses are covered, and malpractice coverage from an A-rated carrier is provided. A dedicated recruiter is available for later travel assignments.
