Full details

The CRNA role is based at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Illinois, a short drive from St. Louis, Missouri. The hospital is a not-for-profit, fully accredited general acute care facility with 133 licensed beds, affiliated with the Hospital Sisters Health System, and has served its community and the south central part of Illinois since 1875.

The anesthesia provider would deliver full anesthesia care across surgical cases, carry out pre-anesthesia assessments and secure informed consent, and build anesthetic plans in discussion with patients. Responsibilities also include managing induction, maintenance and emergence, tracking each patient's physiological status and intervening when necessary, and contributing to departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Case work centers on heavy orthopedic, general and urology volume. The schedule runs three weeks on followed by one week off.

The posted compensation is a salary of $300K with a $100K sign-on incentive. Benefits cover medical, life, vision, and dental coverage, along with disability and AD&D insurance, generous paid time off, flexible spending and health savings account options, fully paid malpractice coverage, and available loan repayment and training assistance.

Candidates need a current registered professional nursing license, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and certification or recertification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
