The position is a full-time role for a CRNA who will join a care team alongside anesthesiologists. Coverage spans the main operating room, the endoscopy suite and interventional radiology. Mount Sinai Brooklyn is the system's only Brooklyn hospital and a community facility, handling roughly 6,000 anesthetics annually.
Candidates need a New York State RN license and registration, a BSN and a master's degree, and CRNA certification. BLS and ACLS certifications are also required. The job is non-bargaining unit.
Duties include general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, MAC sedation, and nerve blocks for postoperative pain control. When clinically indicated, the CRNA also places arterial and central venous catheters.
