The position is a locum tenens assignment for a CRNA at a busy Level III trauma center in a Northern Minnesota community. The town serves as a retail hub, with plenty of shopping, dining, and stores, and it sits near hundreds of lakes and thousands of acres of forest. A regional airport provides daily connections through Minneapolis.

The CRNA would work autonomously within a team that includes four anesthesiologists and, when fully staffed, sixteen CRNAs. About half of the caseload is general or orthopedic surgery, and the rest spans ENT, podiatry, obstetrics, and other adult specialties. The center delivers roughly 925 babies each year. Duties include placing spinal and epidural blocks along with other regional anesthesia, and charting is done in the EPIC system.

The schedule is 40 hours a week, which may include 8- or 10-hour shifts depending on need. The CRNA may be asked to take call, and extended assignments may include some weekend coverage.

Candidates should be experienced CRNAs with demonstrated skill in spinal, epidural, and other regional techniques. Malpractice coverage is provided under the employer's policy, and Minnesota is listed as a covered state with limits of $1M per claim and $3M aggregate. Credentialing takes a minimum of 30 to 60 days. The assignment is open-ended and continues until the hospital is fully staffed.
