This full-time CRNA role is based at a short-term acute care hospital in historic Gloucester, Virginia, with 67 beds. The facility runs a round-the-clock emergency department and an intensive care unit of about 12,000 square feet. As part of the Riverside Health System, the hospital can draw on a Level II trauma center, a well-regarded cardiac program, and an 18-bed neonatal intensive care unit at a sister campus.

Anesthesia cases cover endoscopy, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, urology, vascular, gynecology, and ENT. The work includes pre-anesthesia assessments, obtaining informed consent, and designing anesthetic plans with patients. The CRNA also manages induction, maintenance, and recovery from anesthesia while monitoring each patient's physiological status and intervening as needed. Clinical leadership and coordination with the department are part of the position.

The schedule follows a three weeks on, one week off rotation, which amounts to 13 weeks away from work each year. Compensation is listed as a $275K salary with a $75K sign-on incentive.
