Brenner Children's Hospital, now part of Levine Children's, runs one of the leading pediatric anesthesia and pain management programs in the state. The anesthetist would work with every medical specialty at the hospital across a wide range of pediatric surgeries, from routine procedures to complex cardiac cases.

The CRNA would deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia during pediatric procedures as part of a team-based approach. Current BLS, ACLS and PALS credentials are required, along with demonstrated clinical competence within granted privileges and strong written and verbal communication skills. The clinician works under the licensing authority of the North Carolina Medical Board or the North Carolina Board of Nursing, with departmental credentialing from the institution.

The posting describes the Piedmont Triad region as affordable, with housing costs cited as 31% below the national average, good school systems, a regional population of 1.6 million, and an active lifestyle with trails, golf, arts, regional cuisine and craft breweries and wineries. The cities were named among U.S. News & World Report's top places to live and retire in 2023.

The employer lists a total rewards package that includes base pay within the posted range based on qualifications and experience, premium pay for shifts and on-call work, incentive pay for select roles, and possible annual merit increases. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, family benefits such as adoption assistance and paid parental leave, a defined contribution retirement plan with employer match, and an educational assistance program.
