The CRNA position is a full-time, benefits-eligible role of 40 hours per week at Atrium Health Union, a 182-bed hospital in Monroe, North Carolina, in Union County, roughly 45 minutes from uptown Charlotte. The posted pay range is $99.75 to $159.60, and the posting states a newly updated salary with an entry-level starting figure of $215,996 per year, along with a $100,000 sign-on bonus.

Anesthesia cases include cardiac, pediatric (ENT, dental, orthopedic and emergency department), and OB/GYN procedures. Shifts can be day, afternoon or overnight call, and lengths of 8, 10, 12 or 24 hours are available. CRNAs provide spinal anesthesia.

Clinical training relationships are available and encouraged, and CRNAs may teach allied health learners and student registered nurse anesthetists from the CMC/UNCC Nurse Anesthesia Program and take part in committees.

Candidates need an North Carolina RN license, a degree from an accredited school of nurse anesthesia, a CRNA license, and BLS, ACLS and PALS certification from the American Heart Association. Pediatric emergency department experience is welcomed.

The compensation and benefits package includes performance incentives, a 401(k) and a 457 retirement savings plan, paid time off with a cash-out option, day-one health coverage, family leave, flexible spending accounts, and an HDHP with HSA alongside other health plan choices. Optional benefits such as dependent day care, pet insurance and legal services are also offered.
