Full details

The schedule is 10-hour days, 07:00 to 17:00. This full-time role in Klamath Falls, Oregon, is open to a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and is offered under a direct-employment model, either as a 1099 contractor or as a W-2 employee with full medical and retirement benefits and a generous time-away allowance. The coverage team is a collegial, local mix of physicians and CRNAs, and the practice is collaborative and independent, with physician backup call available as needed. Each day includes one float between the main operating room and the ambulatory surgery center.

Call is shared on an equitable rotation of one in five, with the CRNA taking first call and an MD serving as backup, covering both weekdays and weekends. Time off after call is provided. The caseload is broad and includes general, obstetric and cesarean, orthopedic, gynecologic, ENT, podiatric, urologic, spine, vascular, trauma at a level 3 hospital, healthy pediatric and many regional anesthesia cases, performed at the main hospital OR and the ASC at full scope.

Compensation is listed as $400,000 all-inclusive for the 1099 package, plus additional shift and call pay, for work across 39 weeks a year; the W-2 salary is listed as $360,000, plus extra shift and call pay and a full benefits package. Time away is up to 13 weeks under the 1099 model and up to 8 weeks under the W-2 benefited model. A sign-on bonus of $30,000 to $50,000, depending on experience, is tied to a two-year commitment, and $5,000 is offered toward relocation expenses.

The practice will consider new graduates who are ready to ahead of graduation and comfortable working independently, and those hires would receive a transition-to-practice plan. Klamath Falls is a city of about 22,000 in southern Oregon, surrounded by mountains and forests and less than an hour from Crater Lake National Park, with hiking, camping and fishing nearby. The community is described as close-knit with a low cost of living.
