This is a 62-day locum tenens assignment for an anesthetist in Nebraska, beginning August 15, 2026. The schedule combines weekday daytime shifts, Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with weekend call that runs Friday through Monday from 3 p.m. to 7 a.m., alternating between first and second call.
The caseload is broad and spans general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, vascular, ENT, GI and endoscopy, urology, plastics, podiatry, emergency cases, and a limited number of pediatric procedures. The provider would deliver general, local, and regional anesthesia, including spinal and epidural techniques and upper and lower extremity peripheral nerve blocks, and would also place peripheral IV lines and arterial lines.
