Full details
A facility needs a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide locum tenens coverage while it works to fill a current staffing need. The schedule runs Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts. Cases to be covered span ear, nose and throat, gastrointestinal, general, orthopedic, eye, plastic, podiatry, and pain procedures.
Most anesthesia cases are handled by CRNAs working within a care team model, with a physician providing medical supervision in the operating rooms. Gastrointestinal cases are performed by CRNAs working independently. The electronic medical record system in use has not been confirmed.
Candidates must hold an active Delaware license or be willing to obtain one. Credentialing is expected to take about 30 days.
