Full details

A large regional hospital in southern New Hampshire is looking for experienced CRNAs to cover a locum tenens assignment. The facility is a major referral center with more than fifteen anesthetizing locations, a broad case mix, and an anesthesia team that works closely together, with CRNAs and physicians sharing a collaborative approach. Coverage is needed on a continuing basis until the hospital fills its permanent positions.

Shifts of 8, 10, and 12 hours are available, along with occasional 24-hour shifts. Thursday and Friday coverage is in particularly high demand and opens up immediately. Cases include general, obstetric, endoscopy, and Level III adult trauma. Pediatric, neuro, and open heart cases are excluded, since a dedicated cardiac team handles cardiovascular work. For holiday 24-hour obstetric shifts, the CRNA provides epidurals only, with physician backup available within a 30-minute response time.

Candidates must hold NBCRNA certification and have at least one year of CRNA experience, with obstetric experience required for the 24-hour shifts. Current ACLS certification is needed, and comfort with regional blocks and lines is expected.

The position is a 1099 locum role. The compensation package includes paid malpractice coverage, credentialing and licensing support, and travel and lodging. The location offers easy access to Boston, the White Mountains, and the seacoast, and New Hampshire has no state income tax. Travel is convenient through Boston Logan or Manchester-Boston Regional airports.
