Full details

A regional healthcare system on the South Carolina coast is looking for two full-time locum CRNAs to cover two nearby hospital campuses. The setting is medically directed and team-based, with steady weekday work and a varied case mix. An anesthesiologist is on site at both campuses.

The start date is as soon as possible. Shifts are eight-hour days: providers must be onsite by 6:30 AM for a 7:00 AM first case, with a regular end time of 3:00 PM. Locums may occasionally be asked to cover late rooms that run to about 5:00 PM. Call is optional, and the schedule favors Monday through Friday, though weekend work can be arranged on request. Providers must be willing to work at either location.

Location A handles general surgery, orthopedics and spine, ENT, GYN, cardiac catheterization and EP labs, endoscopy, pulmonology, urology, vascular, robotic, and podiatry cases, roughly 1,100 cases a month. Location B covers general surgery, OB/GYN (the only obstetrics site), urology, cataracts, and dialysis access, plus pediatric well-child cases only, for patients three months and older, roughly 650 cases a month.

Candidates need an active South Carolina CRNA license and must be comfortable across a broad range of general and surgical anesthesia.

Pay depends on the level of coverage and commitment. The employer prefers all-inclusive rates but can arrange travel, lodging, a rental car or mileage reimbursement, and malpractice coverage. Contractors receive support services, including access to the Independent Contractors Benefits Association. The position is offered on a 1099 basis.
