This locum opening is for a CRNA to provide ongoing PRN coverage starting in July at an acute care community hospital in northern Rhode Island, about 60 miles from Boston. The CRNA would work in a room during the day and take first call.
The hospital's caseload is broad and includes general surgery, endoscopy, obstetrics with roughly 450 deliveries, orthopedics (some spine cases), urology, gynecology, podiatry, and cardiac work with about 380 cath lab and TEE cases per year. The practice uses a care team model.
Candidates must be proficient in spinals, blocks, and epidurals. The posting describes the pay as competitive and says malpractice insurance is provided if needed.
