Full details

A facility is looking for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide locum tenens coverage while it works to fill a current staffing need. The weekday schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7am to 3pm, with call coverage from 3pm to 7am. Weekend call is a 24-hour shift on Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 7am, and backup call is required seven days a week on the same hours as first call.

The caseload includes some healthy pediatric patients, generally age seven and older and no younger than four, for procedures such as tonsil surgery, orthopedic work, minor fracture repair and occasional appendectomy. Other services covered include medicine, acute pain service, major vascular, obstetrics, endoscopy, general surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics (hips, knees and shoulders) and plastics. The facility uses Meditech for its electronic medical records, and the role may be on a care team with a staffing ratio or work independently.

Credentialing may take up to 90 days. The position requires an active Kansas license or a willingness to obtain one.
