Full details
A facility is looking for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide locum tenens coverage while it works to fill a current need. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, about 40 hours per week, with possible overtime and call available but not required.
The required case types include trauma, thoracic, and highly autonomous work. Obstetrics is part of the mix, with cesarean sections and epidurals performed by CRNAs, and trauma, pediatrics, neurology, orthopedics, and regional anesthesia are considered advantages.
The practice uses Cerner as its electronic medical record. Providers may work under a care team model with a ratio or independently within a care team; CRNAs must act autonomously even though MDs are on staff.
Credentialing can take up to 30 days. A active Nebraska license is required, or the provider must be willing to obtain one.
