A locum tenens CRNA position is available at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston, Oregon, a Critical Access hospital in the Northeast Oregon region. The assignment is a three-month term that may be extended, with a start needed as soon as possible and a preferred start date of June 5, 2023. The hospital, founded in 1954, is the largest entity in the Good Shepherd Health Care System and is accredited by DNV.
The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with no call and no weekend work. Initial privileges are granted for 30 to 60 days, and emergency privileges are available only for providers with clean files. The case mix includes nerve blocks, obstetrics, and healthy pediatric patients.
Candidates must hold ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications and have at least two years of experience as a CRNA. The Level III role is described as one in which the provider will work with state-of-the-art equipment not commonly found in smaller hospitals.
