A locum tenens certified registered nurse anesthetist is sought for a hospital assignment in St. Louis, Missouri, beginning October 12, 2026. The role centers on delivering anesthesia across a broad range of procedures in a large hospital setting, serving adult patients.

The position follows a four-day, ten-hour weekday pattern, with start times spread across a window from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM and one weekday off on a rotating basis. Shifts are scheduled in advance.

Duties include administering anesthesia for general surgery, orthopedic, neurologic, trauma, obstetric, and cardiac cases. The anesthetist works alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative personnel to support patient outcomes and follows medically directed protocols and hospital policies.

Candidates need NCCAA board certification, a Missouri state license, and BLS and ACLS credentials. At least one year of experience is required, with two years preferred, including work in Level I trauma. Familiarity with the EPIC electronic medical record system and strong communication skills for high-pressure teamwork are also expected.
