This is a locum tenens assignment for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Fortuna, California, based in an inpatient hospital setting with a start date of 9/28/2026. The anesthetist would deliver anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients across a range of procedures, including complete orthopedic and thoracic cases, and would use regional, spinal, and general techniques.

Responsibilities include placing central and arterial lines and overseeing anesthesia care in both pediatric and adult surgical cases. The provider would also cover 24-hour call on specific outlined weekend dates. Other scheduled shifts run from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM on dates set out in the schedule, which varies by date.

Candidates should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nurse Anesthesia, hold an active license and DEA registration, and carry BLS certification. Prior experience in general, spinal, and regional anesthesia is expected.
