This locum tenens role in Portland, Maine, is open to a CRNA starting as soon as possible. The engagement is ideally at least six months, though contracts as short as three months with an option to extend will also be considered.
The position is set at 36 to 40 hours per week, worked as 10- or 12-hour shifts. The most common times are 0700-1730 and 0700-1930, with other options of 0900-1930, 0900-2130 and 1100-2330 depending on the schedule. The 30-minute add-on in each block accounts for a lunch period that is generally unpaid, and staff typically leave on time or slightly early. Standard breaks of 15 minutes in the morning and afternoon apply.
A provider may work more than 40 hours in a week, but any hours beyond 40 are paid at the regular hourly rate, with no overtime premium.
