The position involves anesthesia work on 10- and 12-hour shifts, covering days and nights, with one full weekend shift each month. Assignments include operating room and obstetric cases.
The case mix covers obstetric procedures as well as pediatric and neurological head cases. The practice model is supervised, so the nurse anesthetist works under a supervising physician.
Candidates need at least one year of CRNA experience in a hospital setting and current obstetric experience. Experience at a Level I trauma center is preferred.
