The position is a CRNA role under a medically supervised practice model. Shifts run 7a-7p and 7p-7a at the Maine site, with call shifts, and 7a-5:30p and 5:30p-7a at Site 2, also with call. The case mix spans pediatric cases, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology, ENT, plastics and podiatry at the main site, with cardiac, endoscopy and vascular cases added there. Site 2 adds gynecology and pain management cases.

Candidates must be willing to take call. The CRNA may take OR call, and call is available some weeks with an MD backup, with a response time of 20 minutes. The employer is open to name clears for CRNAs who will take OR call. Spinal, nerve block and epidural experience is needed, and case logs serve as proof of this experience. Familiarity with Epic is expected, along with AHA ACLS and PALS certification.
