This 1099 independent contractor role for a CRNA is based at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, Florida, a newer site for the group. The hospital is a 335-bed facility with roughly 130 years of community service and has been recognized among America's 50 best hospitals. It sits within Flagler Health, a broader healthcare organization focused on physical, social and economic wellbeing across Northeast Florida.

Anesthesia assignments span general, endoscopy, orthopedic, obstetric, vascular, neurological, gynecologic, urologic, radiology and electrophysiology cases, among others. The work covers the full anesthetic process: pre-anesthesia evaluation, obtaining informed consent, developing and reviewing anesthetic plans with patients, managing induction, maintenance and emergence, and monitoring and treating physiological changes as they arise. The role also includes support for departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Pay is listed at $150 per hour. Candidates need a current registered professional nursing license, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and certification or recertification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists. The contractor must supply Articles of Incorporation for either an S corporation or a C corporation, and must carry their own malpractice coverage at full state limits.
