A hospital-based locum tenens opportunity for a CRNA is available in Eastern Kentucky, with the option of ongoing locum or permanent work for Kentucky-licensed anesthetists. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and call is optional. Anesthesia cases include general, urology, orthopedic, GI, ENT and obstetrics.

Compensation is described as excellent, and travel, lodging and malpractice coverage are provided. Credentialing takes about 30 days.

The area is surrounded by the Daniel Boone National Forest, which offers fishing, hunting and hiking, and Lexington, known for its dining and cultural scene, is roughly an hour away.
