Full details

The schedule is four 10-hour shifts a week. Billings Clinic, a community-owned, not-for-profit, physician-led health system in Billings, Montana, is recruiting full-time CRNAs for a newly formed hospital-based anesthesia care team at its main campus. The health system describes itself as Montana's largest, with a 304-bed hospital, a multi-specialty group practice, and a Level I trauma center that serves patients across Montana, Wyoming, and the western Dakotas. It has held Magnet recognition since 2006.

In this role, the CRNA provides anesthesia across general, regional, and monitored care to patients undergoing planned and urgent surgery, childbirth-related procedures, and trauma cases, along with certain anesthesia-related procedures performed under an attending anesthesiologist's direction. Duties include preoperative evaluation, building and carrying out the anesthesia plan with the attending, watching and charting each patient's response, adjusting the plan as needed, moving patients safely to and from the anesthetizing location, and handing off care after surgery. Responsibilities also cover airway management and intubation, mechanical ventilation, drug and fluid selection, regional blocks and neuraxial techniques, emergency response, informed consent, and post-anesthesia follow-up.

The schedule is day shift, Monday through Thursday, with no call and no holidays. The posting lists a starting wage to be determined based on experience.

Offers include a signing bonus, competitive base salary with added pay for extra shifts, a relocation stipend, loan assistance, and continuing medical education support. Full-time staff are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 403(b) plan with employer match, a defined contribution pension, paid time off, and a wellness program.

Minimum requirements are a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and graduation from an accredited CRNA master's program, plus CRNA certification and an RN license by the start date. New graduates are welcome to apply. Billings itself is a college city of about 169,000 people in the Yellowstone Valley, close to outdoor recreation, with a short average commute and an international airport nearby.
