Full details
The Department of Anesthesiology at UT Health San Antonio's Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine is recruiting a faculty-level Specialist/CRNA. The successful candidate would deliver patient care at the UT Health Multispecialty and Research Hospital, the Kyle Seale Parkway site, and other university clinical venues as assigned, generally on weekdays as required.
Applicants should hold or be working toward Texas registered nursing licensure, have graduated from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and hold CRNA certification or have it pending. Registration or pending registration as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners is also expected. The role calls for broad skill across anesthetic methods, including regional and general anesthesia and invasive monitoring, plus ACLS certification or enrollment in a course to obtain it.
The institution describes its compensation as competitive and notes a comprehensive insurance package and a strong retirement plan. All faculty appointments are classified as security-sensitive.
