Full details

Marshfield Medical Center - Dickinson is seeking a full-time CRNA with no call duties for its Gastroenterology team. The role is based at the outpatient clinic and surgery center in Marquette, Michigan, which operates as an extension of the Dickinson campus serving upper Michigan and northeast Wisconsin. The posting lists an annual requirement of 1,720 hours, with extra pay available for shifts beyond a 1.0 FTE.

Core duties include administering anesthesia or sedation for surgical and non-surgical procedures, creating and documenting pre-anesthetic plans with orders before, during and after each case, and collaborating with the providers caring for each patient. The CRNA also orders and reviews diagnostic tests as needed, communicates with patients, families and the wider care team, and monitors patients, including hemodynamics, adjusting the anesthetic plan accordingly. The posting notes an ability to address the developmental needs of all client populations.

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nurse anesthesia program and hold, or be eligible to obtain, a current Michigan registered nurse license or a Nurse Compact License, with any restrictions subject to review. CRNA certification through the AANA must be received before the start date, and membership in good standing is encouraged. A bachelor's degree from an accredited program is required, with a master's, DNP or PhD preferred. CRNA certification must be maintained through the NBCRNA, and the role requires BLS, ACLS and PALS cards along with Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber certification to work independently in Marquette. Privileges must be obtained and kept through credentialing.

Compensation is listed as an annual sum of $245,000 for completing the required shifts at 1.0 FTE. A separate $100,000 retention incentive is payable after five years at 1.0 FTE, subject to a contractual agreement. The benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, a 401K plan, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, a CME allowance, paid time away, malpractice coverage with tail coverage, and a relocation allowance. The employer is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, which may qualify the holder for education loan forgiveness programs.
