Full details

The schedule is 19:00 - 07:00, as posted. An immediate opening has come up for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Largo, Florida, offered as a 13-week contract assignment. Candidates need at least one year of experience.

The anesthetist prepares and gives anesthesia and cares for patients before, during and after surgery. The role also takes part in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, stabilizes trauma patients, delivers critical care, and manages acute and chronic pain. The clinician is expected to keep up with new anesthesia techniques, equipment and drugs and to keep complete, accurate patient records.

Required credentials include an active, unrestricted RN license in the state where the work is performed, with no flagged or pending investigations. A BSN is needed, along with a graduate nursing degree in anesthesia from an accredited program, where a DNP is mandatory starting in 2025. Certification from the NBCRNA and continuing education to keep that certification and the licenses current are also required. Experience as a CRNA or in an anesthesia setting is preferred, with one to two years suggested.

Strong clinical and technical skill in giving anesthesia, sound judgment under pressure, and clear communication with surgical colleagues are valued. Attention to detail and flexibility as patient conditions shift round out the expectations.

Benefits include placement at leading hospitals and health systems across varied care environments, pay described as competitive and transparent, and help with applications, assignment logistics, credentialing and licensing. Travel and lodging are covered, timekeeping is simplified, and malpractice coverage with risk management support is provided. Other benefits may be offered where the law requires them, including reimbursements.
