Full details

MUSC Health is recruiting a board-eligible or board-certified CRNA for its community-based practice at Tidelands Health, with positions in Murrells Inlet and Georgetown, South Carolina. The anesthesia provider would be a salaried-style employee of MUSC Health, working inside the Tidelands system that serves Georgetown and Horry Counties, an area the posting describes as the second fastest-growing region in the nation. The position is listed as a 40-hour weekly, hourly-paid, full-time role.

Tidelands Health runs Georgetown Memorial Hospital with 131 beds and Waccamaw Community Hospital with 121 beds, and it describes itself as a not-for-profit system that is the regional MUSC Health affiliate. The group includes employed anesthesiologists and more than 25 CRNAs, and the practice follows a CRNA medical supervision model in which CRNAs cover obstetric nighttime shifts. Surgical services span general, neurosurgical, orthopedic and spine, urologic, OB/GYN and vascular cases.

Scheduling options include 24-, 12-, 10- and 8-hour shifts, and the standard track carries no call, no weekend work and no holiday work, with an optional call team available. Facilities include a dozen operating suites, two dedicated obstetric surgery rooms, and two daVinci Xi robotic platforms.

Compensation is described as competitive, and benefits include employer-funded retirement plans, paid occurrence malpractice coverage and paid parental leave. Providers would use Epic with AI-assisted documentation tools intended to lighten administrative work, and the group emphasizes team-based staffing meant to keep workloads sustainable.

Murrells Inlet is a waterfront community known as the Seafood Capital of South Carolina, with beaches, marshes and a boardwalk, and it sits within reach of Myrtle Beach and Charleston. Qualifications require NBCRNA board certification and eligibility for a South Carolina medical license.
