This permanent position in Charleston, Illinois is with an established anesthesia group that runs a Monday through Friday schedule with no call and no nights or weekends. The practice gives CRNAs considerable independence and easy access to physician support when a case calls for it. Shifts run either eight or ten hours, and the role is scheduled for 45 weeks a year, which leaves substantial time away.

The caseload spans a broad range of surgical specialties, including general surgery, vascular, orthopedics, thoracic, ENT, cataract, endoscopy, urologic procedures done with a scope, and obstetric and gynecologic work. Cardiac and neurosurgical anesthesia are not part of the role. Providers who enjoy regional techniques will find opportunities to use them.
