HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, Illinois, is a regional medical center serving central and southern Illinois, and it belongs to the Hospital Sisters Health System, a multi-institution network across Illinois and Wisconsin. The CRNA position is based there and follows a schedule of one week working followed by one week off.

Cases span general surgery, orthopedics, cardiac, obstetrics, and other specialties. The nurse anesthetist would deliver full anesthesia care across surgical procedures, complete pre-anesthesia assessments, secure informed consent, and build and review anesthetic plans with patients. Responsibilities also include managing induction, maintenance, and emergence, tracking each patient's physiological status and intervening when needed, and contributing to departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Candidates need a current registration as a registered professional nurse, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and certification or recertification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.

The compensation package lists a base salary of $252,613.64 and a $100K sign-on incentive.
