A facility is looking for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide locum tenens coverage while it works to fill a current staffing need. The assignment runs Monday through Friday, 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

The anesthesia caseload is broad and includes general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, urology, endoscopy, regional anesthesia, and obstetric anesthesia. The role also offers chances to perform ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, epidurals, and intrathecal procedures.

The practice is independent, so the CRNA works without a care team model, and the facility uses the EPIC electronic medical record system. Credentialing is expected to take 30 to 60 days. The provider must hold a license or be willing to obtain one, and the facility is willing to license the right candidate.
