Full details
A client facility in Nebraska is looking for an experienced CRNA to cover a 17-day locum tenens assignment. The provider would practice independently, working Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and would also take out-of-house call.
The caseload centers on regional anesthesia and nerve blocks across a broad mix of surgical services, with the bulk of cases falling in general surgery, bone and joint procedures, urologic work, and scoping. Pediatric, dental, and spinal cases come up now and then, and emergent obstetric patients arrive from the emergency department. Daily volume is typically three to seven cases.
The anesthetist would carry out anesthesia care on each case within the boundaries of CRNA scope. The setting is inpatient, the electronic record is Meditech, and the staffing model is CRNA-only.
Compensation is described as strong, travel expenses are covered, and malpractice coverage through an A-rated carrier is provided.
