Full details
This is a 120-day inpatient assignment in Texas for an anesthetist to deliver full anesthesia care. Shifts typically run eight to twelve hours, and the role carries no call. The caseload spans general, GYN, urology, neuro, vascular, orthopedic, and plastic procedures, with five to fifteen patients per day, and the work is done under a collaborative supervision model alongside the surgical care team.
Blocks and spinals are available to those who are comfortable performing them, though they are not required. The facility uses Epic as its electronic medical record. Candidates must hold current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. The staffing mix is 16 MD/CRNA providers on per day across 18 operating rooms.
Compensation is described as strong, travel-related expenses are covered, and A-rated medical malpractice insurance is provided. The sponsoring firm also offers a dedicated recruiter for later travel opportunities.
