The role is a 60-day assignment in Pennsylvania for an anesthetist to handle typical operating room days, which begin at 7 AM and often run until 7 to 11 PM. The work is done within a care team model and covers a wide mix of surgical cases each day.

The hospital performs roughly 40 to 60 cases daily, and the successful candidate will place lines and perform epidurals and spinals for suitable patients. Adult patients are treated, and no pediatric patients under 13 years of age are included. Coverage spans General, ENT, Plastics, Ophthalmology, Retina, Ortho, Urology, GYN, and Endo cases.

Board certification in Anesthesiology is required, and prior experience with lines, epidurals, and spinals is considered essential. The facility uses Epic as its electronic medical record system.
