Full details
The PRN CRNA position is based at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Midwest in Midwest City, Oklahoma, about seven miles from downtown Oklahoma City. The role suits an independent, service-minded CRNA who will practice to the full scope of their license. The caseload spans general, orthopedic, endoscopy and GI, ENT (with some pediatric patients), gynecology, spine, and cardiac catheterization lab cases. There is no obstetrics.
The anesthesia group is stable, with a team of CRNAs sharing a 1:8 call schedule that is described as manageable. A day off follows call when the call shift covered only operating room cases. Overnight call-ins are minimal, and most call falls to the late-shift provider. Board certification is required, and regional anesthesia proficiency is preferred although the group will provide training for those who lack it. Providers may take their own cases.
Benefits include access to group-style health insurance and financial guidance through preferred partners, along with paid malpractice coverage that includes tail coverage. Clinical leadership from the group's ownership is available to support providers. The community offers parks, lakes, and trails, a low cost of living, and nearby attractions in Bricktown and the Oklahoma City metro area, including sports and arts.
