Full details
A regional healthcare system is looking for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to work on a per diem basis in Roxborough, Pennsylvania, with an option to cover additional shifts at Lower Bucks Hospital. The role suits a CRNA who wants flexible hours and exposure to a variety of surgical settings. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates, with eligibility and payout terms to be discussed during interviews, and the bonus amount is still to be determined.
Anticipated cases include general surgery, orthopedics, gastroenterology, urology, pain and outpatient procedures, and emergency work, with OB/GYN cases depending on privileges. Pay is structured as per diem hourly rates, with weekday, evening, and weekend shifts available and extra earning opportunities through added shifts. The anesthesia leadership team is described as supportive, and the streamlined credentialing process is noted as a priority given the immediate need.
Responsibilities include delivering anesthesia for surgical, procedural, and diagnostic cases, completing pre-anesthesia evaluations, and building individualized care plans. The CRNA would monitor patients through procedures, oversee safe recovery, and respond to urgent or emergent needs. Work involves close collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and perioperative teams, along with accurate charting, regulatory compliance, and participation in quality and safety initiatives.
Candidates should hold current CRNA certification and an active Pennsylvania RN/APRN and CRNA license, or be eligible for licensure. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS are preferred, as is at least one year of CRNA experience, though strong new graduates will be considered. The position calls for someone who can work independently yet also function well within a team-based model and who is willing to travel occasionally to Lower Bucks Hospital for additional shifts.
The position is per diem with variable shifts. The employer is an equal opportunity employer.
