This ongoing locum tenens role for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist is based at a hospital in Eastern Maine, an inpatient setting classified as a Level II Trauma Center. Pay rates are described as competitive and are available on a locum basis, and the assignment is positioned as a long-term opportunity with steady continuity.
The schedule is built for flexibility. Several shift formats are offered, and participation in call is optional, with night call available during the evening and overnight hours. The practice follows a Collaborative Anesthesia Care Team model and operates under medical direction, with the anesthesia work carried out within a supervised team. The facility uses the Cerner electronic medical record system.
Candidates with broad inpatient anesthesia experience are preferred. The position calls for someone comfortable working in a trauma-capable environment, able to function well inside a supervised team, and skilled in clear communication and collaboration.
The posting also highlights the surrounding region, describing Maine's spring blooms, coastal scenery, and summer outdoor activities such as hiking, boating, and fishing as appealing features for providers who want time off between assignments.
