This locum tenens opening is for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide short-term coverage while the hospital works through a current staffing need. The role is based in a hospital setting and runs on weekdays, Monday through Friday, with day and night coverage available. Call includes one weekend about every six weeks.
Anesthesia work covers patients across all age groups, from pediatric and adolescent through adult and geriatric. Epidural and spinal techniques are optional parts of the case mix. Patient volume is described as variable, and the Electronic Medical Record in use is Epic.
Applicants should hold board certification as a nurse anesthetist along with current credentials in Neonatal Resuscitation Program, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Basic Life Support.
