The schedule is 10-hour shifts. The work centers on delivering quality anesthesia care under a loose supervision model.
Cases cover a broad range, including general surgery, orthopedic, gynecological, and urological procedures, along with endoscopic and gastrointestinal work. The anesthetist would also handle ENT, cosmetic, neuro and spine, cardiology, and vascular cases, take part in pain management procedures, and assist with radiological procedures. The setting is inpatient, with five to fifteen patients per day and out-of-house call.
Candidates should hold ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications and be comfortable working in Epic. The staffing mix is listed as ACT.
