Full details

Shifts fall on weekdays, and the position also carries out-of-house call that covers weeknights and weekend days, though call is described as generally light because most after-hours cases are diverted to Bangor.

Clinical work centers on colonoscopies, regional blocks, general surgery, total hip procedures, carpal tunnel releases, and hernia repairs. The post excludes obstetric and intensive care responsibilities. Case volume varies day to day, with heavier loads on colonoscopy days and lighter ones on orthopedic days.

The facility is an inpatient setting that uses Meditech as its electronic record. Operating room capacity is one of two rooms, and the anesthesia team includes one other full-time CRNA alongside operating room staff and a manager.

Candidates should hold board certification in anesthesiology along with current ACLS, BLS, and PALS credentials. The package includes competitive pay, coverage of travel-related expenses, and malpractice insurance rated A that the employer provides. A recruiter is also available to help with later assignments.
