Full details
A locum tenens CRNA role in Southeast Virginia is available at a high-volume hospital surgical unit, with the assignment running from early January through the end of May 2026. The work follows a supervision model in which each anesthesiologist oversees a small group of CRNAs, and the caseload spans adult and healthy pediatric patients as well as obstetric, spinal, regional, orthopedic, neuro (cranial and spinal), and vascular procedures. Responsibilities include ventilator management and placement of arterial and central lines, and the hospital uses the EPIC electronic medical record. Candidates must hold CRNA certification and a Virginia license and must be comfortable across the full case mix, noting that CRNAs do not place spinals or epidurals.
Shifts are scheduled on a flexible basis, and weeknight and/or weekend call is required. The position is posted on a locum tenens basis and is listed as active as of October 13, 2025. The staffing firm offers credentialing and licensing help, malpractice coverage, competitive pay, and paid travel and housing for the assignment.
