The schedule is 8-hour days, 07:00 to 15:00. This as-needed opening is with the ambulatory surgery center division of a national anesthesia practice network in Florida, where the Tampa area has several PRN openings for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists. The network runs outpatient surgery centers from the Panhandle down to Miami, and the Tampa-area sites are the focus here.

One site, Select Physicians Surgery Center in Tampa, has three operating rooms and performs about 1,500 cases a year, staffed by two anesthesiologists and three anesthetists, with ENT and cosmetic procedures. A second site, New Port Richey Surgery Center in Trinity, has four operating rooms and logs 3,922 cases annually, covering endoscopy, orthopedics, general surgery and some ENT work.

The role is Monday through Friday with no call and no weekends, and it is described as offering guaranteed hours and competitive compensation. Case types vary by facility and may include orthopedics, GI, ENT, podiatry and neurology.
