Full details

This opening sits within the ACD Division of Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a Level I trauma center in downtown Dallas. The group works as a collegial, collaborative anesthesia care team alongside physicians and RRNAs, and CRNAs here are granted considerable independence while backup remains accessible when needed.

Anesthesia is delivered across a broad surgical and procedural spectrum, including trauma, transplant, bone and joint, head and neck, vascular, reconstructive, weight-loss, gastrointestinal, interventional radiology, urologic, obstetric, electrophysiology, and select neurologic and cardiac procedures. CRNAs perform their own epidural and spinal placements, arterial and central lines, and some peripheral nerve blocks. The center serves a high-acuity population, and the program is designed to sharpen anesthetic skills for clinicians at any career stage, from new graduates to experienced practitioners.

Shifts are distributed through a priority system that determines go-home order, with early and late assignments shared evenly across the group. Nights and weekends are largely staffed by clinicians who choose those hours, though an occasional weekend may be required every one to three months depending on the schedule. Additional incentive pay accompanies each call shift, along with early relief or a day off the following Monday. Set shift scheduling is available to those who request it.

The Kessler Park location lies minutes across the Trinity River from downtown Dallas, near the Bishop Arts District and Trinity Groves, and new housing is expanding nearby ahead of the Harold Simmons Park completion. Dallas, with roughly 1.3 million residents, anchors the fourth most populous metro area in the nation and offers culture, dining, shopping, professional sports, nightlife, parks, and museums, along with one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country. Dallas Love Field and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport provide air travel.

Candidates must hold a CRNA credential and meet state licensure requirements, and must complete the hospital credentialing process for each facility where they will hold privileges. The employer is US Anesthesia Partners, a single-specialty, physician-owned organization operating in nine states, with anesthesiologists and care teams serving more than 1,000 inpatient and outpatient facilities and delivering care for over two million cases each year.
