Full details

The schedule is seven on and seven off. This night shift opening for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist is based at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. The practice emphasizes better care, closer collaboration with physicians, and a commitment to the local community. The hospital's anesthesia group includes about 20 physicians and 62 CRNAs, and multiple providers are on site and in-house during each shift.

The hospital is a Level I trauma center recognized for stroke, heart attack, sepsis, and delirium care, and it serves more than a million patients a year. Its operating rooms handle high-risk obstetrics, cardiothoracic cases, interventional radiology with critically ill patients in the electrophysiology lab, and gastrointestinal and obstetric services. Night CRNAs gain broader hands-on exposure to regional anesthesia, obstetrics, and trauma than daytime colleagues, and they practice to the full extent of their license.

Candidates should hold board certification or be board eligible as a CRNA and be authorized to work in the United States. Compensation includes a base salary of $212,000 to $232,000 that depends on years of experience, along with the chance to earn shift differentials. Employees are also eligible for an annual retention bonus, an annual quality bonus, and night shift differentials.

Time off is generous, with seven to eight weeks of scheduled leave each year depending on experience. Fort Worth offers a lower cost of living than many large cities, along with museums, a music scene, the Nature Center, and the Stockyards.
