Full details

The practice in Sunnyvale, Texas, is a contracted group of one physician and five CRNAs serving Baylor Scott and White - Sunnyvale. The team emphasizes mutual support, and its physician chief and chief CRNA take part in several hospital committees, including those covering medical diversion, the medical executive body, critical care, and surgery.

The hospital is a community facility where the team handles general, orthopedic, vascular, podiatry, and urology cases, and supports endoscopy and the cath lab when needed. Trauma, obstetrics, cardiac, and high-acuity pediatric cases are not part of the caseload.

Scheduling is built around a new call model under which each clinician covers call for a stretch of days that begins and ends on weekdays-to-weekend boundaries, with the Monday-through-Friday work placed on the afternoon-leaning swing schedule and later starts arranged when possible. Both shorter and longer weekday shift lengths are offered.

Candidates must hold board certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and be authorized to work in the United States. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation is listed at $170 per hour. The position comes with ten weeks off each year, and the town sits on Lake Ray Hubbard just outside Dallas, offering a relaxed suburban setting with access to city amenities.
