A staffing client in Illinois is looking for Cardiac CRNAs to cover locum assignments. Candidates need a valid Illinois license, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, and a DEA registration; AHA-issued ACLS and PALS are required. The role also calls for demonstrated proficiency in nerve blocks, including ISB, supraclavicular, intermediate cervical plexus, and possibly axillary, popliteal, adductor canal, IPACK, and genicular blocks, along with spinals and epidurals. Providers must be able to show proof of these blocks.

The position spans two locations. At the first site, the schedule runs on a day shift followed by a night call period; at the second, a day shift is followed by an evening call period. The CRNA may take OR call, with some weeks offering call coverage backed by a physician. Endoscopy coverage is available on Saturdays.

Cases at both sites include pediatrics, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology, ENT, plastics, and podiatry. Additional cases include cardiac, endoscopy, and vascular, along with obstetrics and pain management. The facilities use Epic for their electronic records.

The staffing firm notes competitive pay rates, malpractice coverage provided by the firm, and paid travel and lodging. Referral bonuses of up to $2,500 are also offered to anyone who refers a colleague who is hired.
