Full details
This locum tenens opening calls for a CRNA to provide coverage in a hospital setting in Vermont, with a start as soon as possible and no set end date. The role is weekday daytime work from Monday through Friday, with after-hours call scheduled as needed and a response time of 30 minutes, plus a late room assignment that runs into the afternoon. The supervision model is determined by each site.
The clinical scope spans orthopedics, general surgery, endoscopy, OB and GYN, pediatrics, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, and plastics. Strong skill with spinal, nerve block, and epidural techniques is required, and candidates must submit case logs documenting those procedures.
Applicants need an active, unrestricted Vermont CRNA license, which is required to begin the application, along with a DEA registration and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification (AHA where applicable). At least two years of clinical practice within the past five years is necessary to qualify. Credentialing typically takes 60 to 90 days, depending on the site.
Travel support is offered depending on provider availability. Other perks include malpractice coverage, weekly electronic payment, and a referral bonus program. The facility uses Medaxion as its electronic medical record system.
