The search is underway for a new Chief CRNA at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center in Cartersville, Georgia. The position suits a clinician ready to advance into leadership, have a real influence on operations, and become part of a tight-knit group that looks out for its members.

The anesthesia group in Cartersville has 12 CRNAs in addition to the Chief CRNA and is shifting to a four-physician rotation. Annually the team handles roughly 7,000 to 8,000 cases across 8 operating rooms, 2 endoscopy suites, obstetrics including the OB operating room, the cath lab, interventional radiology, MRI, and other procedural locations. Surgical work spans general surgery, orthopedics, GI, OB, neuro and spine, and more, but excludes cardiac surgery. CRNAs here deliver a wide variety of techniques, such as labor epidurals, spinal anesthesia, and peripheral nerve blocks.

The posted schedule runs Monday through Friday with no call obligation. The Chief CRNA serves as a key liaison between the local clinicians, DPI leadership, physicians, surgeons, and the hospital's administrative team. This leader may take part in Piedmont system committees, build working ties throughout the facility, and work to improve anesthesia operations for patients and providers across Bartow County.

The role also provides direct exposure to DPI's executive leadership and a chance to build skills in executive communication, strategic decisions, and board-level presence. The local team is fully staffed and stable, and the incumbent will receive support from local colleagues.
