The schedule is 13-hour nights, seven on and seven off, 19:00 to 08:00. Some providers follow a rotation of alternating work and off periods, and onsite call is available with call rooms for providers.

Anesthesia work covers special procedures in orthopedic spine, gynecology, urology, endocrine, and obstetrics. The provider will use regional techniques such as spinal and epidural blocks, general anesthesia, and monitored anesthesia care. Volume is expected to be roughly 15 to 22 cases a day in the main OR, plus about 200 obstetric deliveries each month. Patients are mainly ASA 2 or 3 adults in their twenties through forties, and pediatric cases are not included.

The setting is inpatient, and the electronic medical record in use is Epic. Support staff are on hand Monday through Friday during the hours the OR runs. Required credentials are board certification in anesthesiology along with ACLS, BLS, and PALS.

The package includes strong compensation, coverage of travel-related expenses, and A-rated medical malpractice insurance. A dedicated recruiter is also available for later travel assignments.
